Vintage long cascading garnet earrings in Victorian style 240317e

  

Each earring is set with 20 genuine garnets in a fine burgundy darkred color. One earring is 2.0 inch high and 0.37 wide. They were made in Sterling Silver rosegoldplated.

The rearside has tiny signs of tarnish please see my pictures. The weight of one earring is 4.4 gram.

The dimensions of the earrings can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet jewels in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The style is described as'Victorian style' or'Art-Deco style' but it is'Vintage' not'Antique'. This old stock is unworn and in mint condition. What is called' Bohemian' once was made in Bohemia and is about 5 to 20 years old. These Bohemian garnet pieces are in mint condition.
