Gorgeous little box, i think it's a small calling card case. Stones on front, and an openwork/filigree pattern of petwery metal. Hinges at back with kiss clasp, so you can pull items out of it. Has 2 chains, a long necklace chain which i added (this was part of my personal wardrobe, i wore it a few times), plus the original wristlet chain. Pendant's total measurements are about 2.5 x 2 x.

Interior can handle items up to abouuut 1.75 x 1.5, so definitely smaller than a modern business card. Original wristlet chain has about a 3.5 drop. Necklace chain adjusts between about 34 to 36 around, so quite long.
